The Prevention Technology Transfer Centers (PTTCs) develop and disseminate tools and strategies to improve the quality of substance abuse prevention efforts. PTTC’s provide intensive technical assistance and learning resources that enhance understanding of prevention science, use epidemiological data to guide prevention planning, select and implement evidence-based and promising prevention practices, and develop tools and resources to engage the next generation of prevention professionals. The PTTC Network includes ten Domestic Regional Centers, two National Focus Area Centers, and a Network Coordinating Office. The Network serves all fifty U.S. states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Pacific Islands of Guam, American Samoa, Palau, the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, and the Mariana Islands. Links to all ten centers are available through the website. Each Center provides unique training and resources and includes contact information for inquiries.
