Policy Research Associates manages the Service Members, Veterans, and their Families Technical Assistance (SMVF-TA) Center work with states and territories to strengthen behavioral health systems for service members (active duty, National Guard, and reservists), veterans, and their families. SMVF’s Policy Academy (PA) unites federal, state, and local leaders with experts to exchange ideas, best practices, and lessons learned and serves as the critical resource for PA graduates as they refine and implement strategic plans. Training, webinars, reports, and other downloadable resources are available online. Site visits and expert consultations are also available.

Justice for Vets

Justice for Vets supports the development, implementation, and application of evidence-based practices. Technical assistance includes on-site workshops, webinars, remote service, strategic partnership development, coaching, and follow-up. A simple online form is required to request assistance.
