Agency Notice of Funding Opportunity:
Eligible victim compensation programs can use these funds to provide crime victims with compensation, support, and services to aid their restoration after criminal violence, including costs associated with medical fees, lost income, dependent care, funeral expenses, and relocation expenses.
Additional Notes:
Each eligible state program will receive a grant equal to 75 percent of what they paid out to victims during the previous two years as victim compensation (excluding property damage payments).
