Agency Notice of Funding Opportunity:
This opportunity provides an annual VOCA victim assistance grant to all states and most territories to provide subgrants to local organizations and public agencies that provide services directly to crime victims. Examples of services provided include crisis counseling, telephone and onsite information and referrals, criminal justice support and advocacy, shelter, therapy, and additional assistance.

For fiscal year (FY) 2026, the amount available to the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) for obligation from the Crime Victims Fund is $1,950,000,000. Of this amount, $1,291,565,110 is allocated by the VOCA formula for victim assistance grants. Each state, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico receive a base amount of $500,000. The territories of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, and American Samoa each receive a base amount of $200,000. Additional funds are distributed to states and territories based on population according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
